Ingredients

250 grams shrimp, peeled, de-headed
200 grams potatoes, peeled, diced, and fried
1 block petai, remove the flesh, cut in half
1 bay leaf
1 finger-length galangal, bruised
1 tablespoon oil, for sautéing

Ground spices

3 cloves garlic
6 shallots
8 large red chilies, de-seeded
1 red tomato
3 fried candlenuts
1 teaspoon salt

How to make Fried Shrimp and Potato Sambal Recipe

Heat cooking oil, sauté ground spices, galangal, and bay leaves until fragrant
Add the shrimp and stir-fry until cooked and the color changes.
Add the potatoes and stir-fry well. Add a little water, stir, and let it boil until the spices are absorbed.
Add the petai, stir well, and let it cook for 1 minute.
Remove and serve.
